A Round-Table Discussion
To mark European Early Music Day, Cambridge Early Music invites you to a participatory discussion.
Topics will include:
- the marketing and programming of early music
- the interaction of scholarship and performance
- early music in the age of streaming
- the educational and amateur early music scene
Speakers:
Laurence Cummings (MD Academy of Ancient Music and London Handel Festival)
Sally Dunkley (singer, scholar and music editor)
Alan Howard (current editor of Early Music)
Nicholas Kenyon (formerly BBC Radio 3 and the Barbican; former editor of the journal Early Music)
Sarah Latto (Co-Artistic Director and Conductor of Echo Ensemble)
Friends and guests of Cambridge Early Music are invited to a pre-event drink in the Recital Room from 5 pm.
Entry is free to the General Public, but with a suggested donation of £5.
