Solomon's KnotSolomon's Knot, Andrew Wilkinson Photography

Solomon’s Knot gave an unforgettable performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion in Trinity College Chapel last year, so expectations are high for their return to CEM with Monteverdi’s masterpiece.

The Vespers combines the exalted and the sensual in a dizzying array of soaring choruses, intricate duets and solos, and instrumental writing so fresh-sounding it could have been composed yesterday.

A season opener not to be missed!

This concert will be approximately 2 hours in duration, with no interval.

With generous support from Dr Barry Tennison and Sagaraghosa.
