Cantoría

Immersed in the rich traditions of the Spanish Golden Age, vocal ensemble Cantoría have fast become renowned for their richly expressive performances. Described in Early Music Review as displaying ‘exceptional musical and technical skill, with a commendable purity and stability of tone and intonation, making for perfect harmony’, this Spanish ensemble bring a programme of ‘ensaladas’ straight from the courtly traditions of the Iberian Renaissance. Expect fire, devotion, and ultimately, divine redemption in this programme of music from some of the finest historic Spanish songbooks.
