Mediva Ensemble
The fire crackles and the spiced wine is warmed with carols and estampies from medieval England, celebrating the Angel Gabriel’s visitation to the Virgin Mary. A range of songs and dances from 12th – 15th centuries buried in manuscripts now housed in Cambridge, Oxford and London libraries. All composed by the ever prolific Anonymous. Let the winter festivities begin!
