Solomon’s Knot
Performing the St Matthew Passion for the first time, Solomon’s Knot do away with vocal scores and conductor to bring Bach’s monumental masterpiece up-close and personal.
Their 9 singers and 25 instrumentalists will work with director John La Bouchardière, following their St John Passion together at the iconic Bachfest Leipzig in 2019: ‘the story of the suffering and death of Jesus Christ can hardly be more intense than that of this remarkable collective’ (Leipziger Volkszeitung).
