Learning & Participation Overview
Cambridge Early Music runs a lively education programme for all ages, from young people to adult, which encompasses a wide range of musical genres within early music.
Central to the calendar are two prestigious Summer Schools, one on Baroque music, the other on Renaissance music.
Cambridge Early Music also works closely with local universities to offer opportunities to students and supports young musicians through Cambridgeshire Music Hub and Cambridgeshire Music. We also run a number of workshops throughout the year, often in conjunction with our Festival of the Voice.
In partnership with Cambscene we offer students and young people exclusive offers to allow them to attend our concerts. If you are a full-time student, you can buy a discounted £5 student standby ticket on the door (ID required) and if you are under the age of 18 you can attend our concerts for FREE (maximum of 4 per full-paying adult). These offers are subject to availability. Find out more...
Cambridge Early Music also actively supports young emerging ensembles and offers a prize in the York Early Music Festival International Young Artists Competition and collaborates with the Brighton Early Music Live scheme.
