Cambridge Early Music Concerts 2013

DOWLAND, PURCELL AND BACH

Jakob Lindberg

3.30pm, Sunday 7 July, 2013
Queens' College Long Gallery, Cambridge
SOLD OUT: PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF START TIME

In celebration of the 450th anniversary of the birth of John Dowland (1563-1626), Jakob Lindberg plays a recital of his consummate lute music, on an instrument built in 1590, contemporaneous with the composer himself, and miraculously restored to playing condition.
To match the date of the music and the instrument, we are very privileged to hold this recital in the exquisite Long Gallery of Queens' College's President's Lodge, by kind permission of Lord and Lady Eatwell.
