An early-afternoon recital of music by Hans Neusidler (1508/9-1563), a highly influential figure in German lute music. The programme of music taken from Neusidler's New Little Lute Book of 1540 will include all three of the main types of sixteenth-century music for solo lute: preludes, settings of madrigals and chansons, and dances.
